The last two days we’ve tossed around lots of terms that are relatively new–PLN’s, Web 2.0, social networking, Creative Commons. What are some new things you’ve learned as we have talked about these topics? How do you see yourself applying this information in your work and/or other areas of your life?
Digital-Age Learning! That is a mouthful. How can we design and assess digital-age learning experiences for our students. After our class today what ideas do you have for designing new lessons?
What does technology integration mean to you? For me technology integration means the focus is on the learning and not on the technology.
After spending this first day looking at NETS standard what goals do you have for the upcoming school year? Can you do something new or better with the technology tools you currently have in your classroom?
We are continuing our study of Asia. Here are a few fun links to add to our study.

Summer school friends,
Today is our last day in Australia. We will travel to a new continent next week. Today we are going to look at some things to see and do in Australia.
We’ll read a book and answer questions from the first link on this site.

This week we are studying Australian animals. Here are some links to help you in research. What animal(s) are your favorites? What makes this animal unique?

Last week my family and I went on vacation. We spent a week at Lake Okiboji in Iowa. I didn’t know there was such a place until last month. We had a good time.
What are your summer plans? Are you going on vacation somewhere? Are you staying home and having a stay-cation? Do you plan to go to camp, camping, play sports, swim or spend time with family? Write a paragraph telling me about your family plans.
